Kivalliq Kids

"Kivalliq Kids" is a fund that, with your help, will change the lives and futures of children living with disabilities in the Kivalliq community.

These children face personal challenges every day because of conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, amputations, bone disorders, autism, FASD, eating disorders and many more.

The Children's Rehabilitation Foundation receives funding requests from therapists who work directly with these children. These therapists identify the best equipment that will enable these children to meet their life challenges and the Foundation seeks donations to fund them.

We are asking for your help to enable these children to have the tools they need to accomplish their schoolwork, ride a bike, use a computer, get around in their rural communities, speak, play, eat safely, be comfortable in their wheelchairs...and be as independent and active as possible.

The "Kivalliq Kids" fund is set up to specifically help children in this region. 100% of your donation will be used to enable them to be the best they can be. The Children's Rehab Foundation will keep you updated about where and how your donation is affecting their lives and issue you a charitable tax receipt.

Thanks to Accutech Engineering Inc for their leadership, seed funds and ongoing support to help create the Kivalliq Kids Fund.

To make a donation or for more information please contact the Children's Rehab Foundation at 204-475-5073 or toll free at 1-888-855-KIDS (5437).
